TEMPTATION

 When we are talking about temptation we mean the desire to do something , especially something wrong or unwise while temptation in the bible primarily donates a trial in which man has a free choice of being faithful or unfaithful to God; only secondarily does it signify allurement or seduction to sin.

Examples of temptation

- When you feel a strong urge to eat a cake when on diet, this is an example of temptation.

-The cake that makes you want to eat it is example of a temptation.

There are ways to beat temptation and boost your willpower such as select the situation, choose to hang out with people or environments that will enhance your self-control. Choose to spend time with friend who live healthy or lead busy lives, rather than those who encourage you to go out and party.

Change the situation to make self control easier. Modify the situation to make self-control easier. if you have trouble getting out of bed, put our alarm clock across the room so you have to get out of bed to switch it off. Refocus your attention, this simply if you can't change the situation, change what you pay attention to. Or think about how good you will feel after you workout, save money, or eat healthy.

Change what you think about or how you perceive a tempting object. For example, think deliberately about the way you behaved the last time you drank too much, in order to avoid drinking. You can also use your willpower, you can stay in the situation and use mental strength to avoid temptation.
